My wife and I were in Vegas in 2009 and took the tour of the canyon with Papillon. It was an amazing experience. We returned with a party of 4 last week and decided to do the canyon again. We had no hesitations about using Papillon again. I had trouble booking online and ended up ringing and spoke with Carol who was amazingly helpful and polite. I don't think I told her that so please pass on my gratitude. I also spoke with Carol again from Vegas when confirming the pick-up and again her enthusiasm and manner was top class.
For the flight itself, we had a trip with Brandon who was both interesting and engaging. The day was windy and we were advised of turbulence when we arrived. Luckily, the flight was relatively smooth and the scenery stunning. We were put at ease by Brandon with interesting facts and general small talk. He was a great companion for the trip. I would have no hesitation in recommending Papillon to anyone travelling to Vegas and look forward to my next trip. Hopefully!!
First, the tour itself was great. We loved the views, the set up, and the general mode of the tour. Our pilot was really cool. He flew really smooth, had great attitude about educating and entertaining and was really attentive to all our needs at every point throughout the trip. Our compliments to him! I just wanted to let you guys know that my helicopter tour was the highlight of my Vegas weekend. Our pilot Diane was outstanding. Very courteous, delightful, and knowledgeable of the area and a super pilot. I would do another tour for sure, especially if she was my pilot again.
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much we enjoyed the tour of the Grand Caynon/Lake Mead/Hoover Dam last week. I was a bit apprehensive about taking a helicopter tour but I have to say it was a breeze with your company. Our pilot Troy made us feel welcome and safe every step of the way. I would highly recommend landing on the bottom of the Grand Canyon as it is a bucket list item that shouldn't be missed. It is a trip totally worth splurging on!
We would like to say this tour was fabulous! Was the best ever – the entire experience was one of the best. Our pilot Alyson was the bomb! We have told everybody about this experience and if we are ever back your way again we would do it all again. We thought our tour of the Grand Canyon was the highlight of our trip which took in four weeks of the US. Our pilot, Kelly, was the ultimate professional and gentleman. We were very impressed with the way the whole tour was run by Papillon from the lovely bus driver who picked us up promptly in the morning and who was also personable to the process at the airport to get us on our flight and then the helicopter journey where we experienced lifetime memories of the views with music and commentaries to the breakfast with champagne and we were safely returned to be able to relive the experience over and over in our minds. Thank you Papillon. We will certainly be telling people about our day!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Grand Celebration tour on with Bruce as our pilot. Your company runs a very good operation in an efficient manner. We were cancelled twice due to weather the day before and all measures were taken to get the tour in as soon as possible. The time in the canyon and the briefings from Bruce really added to our chance to see such marvelous scenery by helicopter. My family and I recently traveled with Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters out of Las Vegas. The experience was amazing and will live on in my mind for many years. The views of the Grand Canyon were inspiring and incredible. I was so glad that we took part in this experience. Everything was so well planned and ran smoothly. The staff that worked for the company were friendly and courteous. And the pilot was excellent. She pointed out so many things on the flight and provided much information about the area. I loved how she flew us right over Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Landing right in the canyon next to the Colorado River was great too. I loved being able to eat a delicious lunch with champagne in the canyon setting which served as a perfect backdrop for the meal. We also enjoyed the limousine ride from our hotel to the airport. Overall I cannot stop saying enough things about this entire experience. I would give it a stellar rating. This was on my bucket list and I am so thankful that I was able to participate in this experience. I will recommend this to anyone and I hope that I can do this again in the future. Thanks again for a truly magical experience.
I would just like to say, myself and my friends had the most amazing experience flying over the Grand Canyon with our Pilot Cody on the 23rd November. Cody was very knowledgeable when we presented him with all sorts of questions about our tour, and volunteered answers when questioning him about his personal training into becoming a helicopter pilot. He made us all feel very welcome to Las Vegas, as this was our first trip, which was a joint birthday celebration for 3 of our party. Cody also made us feel very much at ease, as 2 of us were very, very nervous about getting in the helicopter, and once we were in the air, we experienced the thrill of our lives. The hour tour was so smooth, we hardly felt the helicopter moving. The sites we went over were breath taking, and for anyone visiting Vegas, this is a must do trip.
When I return to Vegas, which I certainly intend to do, I will book this tour again so that I can land down in the Grand Canyon and take in the spectacular surroundings whilst sipping a glass of champagne.
We undertook a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. Neither myself or my wife had been in a helicopter before so we're a little nervous. However after 5 minutes of flying all the nerves had gone all credit to our pilot -Kyle. Overall this was one of the best experiences we have done, highly informative, the views were spectacular. Was the trip worth the cost, certainly, would I do it again, a resounding yes and we will on our next visit to Las Vegas.

My friend and I flew with you over the Grand Canyon. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The whole package was wonderful. Efficient, friendly and so special. From the welcome by the driver of the bus that collected us from our hotel in Las Vegas, the lovely girl who booked us in, the fantastic pilot and the driver who took us back to the hotel - everything was perfect. We just wanted to thank you. We had a wonderful time on our helicopter tour. It started with a very congenial ride from Guy, your shuttle driver, who got us all there and shared some insights with us, and then we had Ryan, the pilot, who gave us a very exciting and comfortable (can those two words go together?) ride over the Canyon. The sights were breathtaking, and we have recommended Papillon and this tour to all our friends. What a great way to spend an afternoon.
My wife and I took the 45 minute flight on Saturday Jan 9 at 2 pm. The flight was a great adventure and very enjoyable. The pilot was friendly and helpful.
On 3/23/16 I treated our friends from Kentucky to your Imperial flight over the Grand Canyon. I did this because I was so impressed with the same flight I had with my niece and her family back in 2010. I highly recommend your helicopter company to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon. Our pilot Steve was fantastic! Our helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon was absolutely amazing and breathless we are so pleased with our adventure that we have recommended it to friends! The views afforded us from the air are irreplaceable and having the ability to pretty much get a panoramic view as we flew over the ridges, canyon and river is nothing less than gorgeous, thanks. We were fortunate to have a smooth beautiful weather that just made the trip even more dramatic and picturesque!!!
My husband and I took the ECO tour on Wednesday, April 27th and loved it ! We arrived early to the airport and the staff was able to move us up to an earlier flight (it was very cloudy with a few sprinkles). It seemed that the weather might not be good for a flight over the canyon but when we got to the canyon the sky opened up and it was outstanding. I've rafted in the canyon and hiked down Bright Angel Trail but this view of the Grand Canyon was like no other. Being able to see the entire width of the canyon was breathtaking to say the least. Our pilot was great - it was a little windy but you would never have known it. The route he took and the angles for photos were spectacular......requesting the two front seats was well worth the cost. This was a bucket list item for us and one we thoroughly enjoyed!

This is my second time with Papillon so already a returning customer! The organization was impeccable - everything worked like clockwork. Everyone at Papillon goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and valued My daughter and boyfriend are visiting from the UK in May and are already booked on the same tour on the 5th May. Seeing the Grand Canyon and taking my first helicopter ride were both on my "bucket list" for many years - so I got a two-for-one! AND I got to ride in the co-pilot's seat!!! We recently spent a couple of days in the Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim) and took the helicopter ride with Papillon. If you have the time - definitely do this. The experience is brilliant and the views of the Canyon awesome. Would recommend this to anyone.
We opted for the fixed wing tour and so glad we did. It was amazing and all staff where so courteous and friendly. The flight was smooth, the crew professional and the scenery unbelievable. If you have the chance this is a "don't miss" experience. Would go again and again.
Four of us flew on the scenic air tour. All agreed it was a great way to see the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Grand Canyon and surrounding area. There is so much to see! Staff was great, very friendly and professional.
